I know this blog is supposed to be about sissy bars, but its also about what we do, and where we go, and who we meet. Well Matty, Ditch Weed, and Me rolled the six deuce longroof up to Beer City to hang with Ben, Katie, Doo Doo, Aaron, Kyle and the crew at The Shed for one of their little shindigs. The longroof ran flawlessly and we met some more rad people as we always do on these adventures, cept for the one guy who pissed on Ben and Katies couch and said he spilled a glass of water. One such rad person being the one and only Don Wood, if you have not already met Don Wood, do yourself a favor, seek him out and get twisted on some of his 'shine.
Rolled the longroof over to Rock Island last night to meet up with Carney, Ashley, and Heath to check out High On Fire at RIBCO. Kylesa kicked off the show and destroyed, vocalist/lead guitarist Laura is AFUCKINGMAZING and smokin hot to boot. Torche turned it up to about 10 1/2 and ripped through their set, then Mike Pike and High On Fire turned the amps to at least 13 1/2 and ripped the fucking knobs off and took over the stage like the viking gladiators they are and blew me the fuck away!!!!!!!!!!! Best show I have ever seen in my life.
